DMCA & Copyright Policy
Effective Date: April 8, 2026
Last Updated: April 8, 2026
putthem.in respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and applicable copyright laws. This policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims and counter-notices.
1. Our Commitment
We take copyright infringement seriously. If you believe that content on putthem.in — including a generated game — infringes your copyright, you can submit a formal DMCA takedown notice using the process described below.
2. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
To request removal of infringing content, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at:
Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your signature (physical or electronic) as the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g., a description or link to the original work).
- Identification of the infringing content on putthem.in — specifically, the URL of the game or content you believe infringes your copyright.
- Your contact information — your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
- A good-faith statement that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement of accuracy and authority — that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices that do not include all of the above elements may not be acted upon.
3. What Happens After a Notice Is Received
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the claim promptly.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
- Notify the user who created the content that a takedown request has been filed.
- Provide the user with an opportunity to submit a counter-notice.
4. Submitting a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to:
Your counter-notice must include:
- Your signature (physical or electronic).
- Identification of the removed content and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- Consent to jurisdiction — a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
5. Repeat Infringers
We have a policy of terminating access for users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Accounts or sessions associated with repeated valid DMCA claims may be permanently blocked from the Platform.
6. Portrait Rights & Likeness Claims
putthem.in also respects individuals' rights over their own likeness. If your image has been used in a game without your consent, you do not need to file a DMCA notice — instead, please contact us directly:
We will treat such requests as a priority and act promptly to remove the content.
7. Misuse of DMCA Process
Filing a false or bad-faith DMCA notice is a serious matter. Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including legal costs. Please only submit takedown notices if you have a genuine, good-faith belief that infringement has occurred.
